
Equipment / Clothing
The Yoga Den provides all necessary equipment. However, for hygiene purposes,
students are encouraged to bring their own mats. Avoid clothing which
may restrict or bunch in any way.
RELAX AND RENEW:
Gentler, supported postures designed for those with injuries and/or chronic
ailments, such as diabetes, heart disease, asthma, chronic fatigue, and
fibromyalgia – or those looking for a gentle class.
DISCOVER YOGA:
A gentle introduction to the fundamentals of Hatha yoga for the brand
new & continuing student. Includes core postures, breath work, relaxation
techniques, and yoga philosophy.
LEVEL ONE:
For continuing students desiring to evolve their Hatha yoga practice once
they are familiar with the fundamentals as presented in Discover Yoga.
Supported inversions and backbends are included.
INTERMEDIATE :
Challenging Your Practice - A more demanding hatha yoga practice for continuing
students. This level includes more detailed instruction as well as advanced
inversions and backbends.
ASHTANGA YOGA:
A style of yoga that builds strength, releases tension, and helps students
focus on breath & the mind/body connection through the linking of
postures.
YOGA AND MEDITATION:
Introducing the essentials of seated meditation. Includes postures designed
to make extended periods of sitting more comfortable, basic and continuing
levels of pranayama (breathing exercises), and room for class discussion
based on your meditation experiences and practices.
THE PRETZEL HOUR:
A class for parents and kids. Two teachers work together for provide a fun 1/2 hour session with parents and kids doing yoga together, followed by a another 1/2 hour session with kids in one room and parents in another.
YOGA FOR TEEN GIRLS:
A class for girls aged 10-13 designed to cultivate strength, concentration and confidence while promoting healthy body image and sisterhood.
YOGA FOR BACKS:
Bodhi Tree Yoga's flagship class taught by yoga therapist Sarah Garden. Students in this class are assessed for their particular ailments and given personalized programs that they follow during class under the guidance of Sarah and her assistants.
YOGA THERAPY:
An extension of the Yoga for Backs program, this class combines personalized therapeutic yoga routines with the expert hands of Registered Massage Therapist Christie Langen. Registration is limited to 4 students per session.
THE NOONER:
Its a yoga class - at noon.
